Research profile:

Development of new chromatographic, spectral and electrochemical methods for application in environmental and clinical analysis. The objects of the research are among others: neurotransmitters, methylxanthines and their metabolites, nicotine alkaloids, pesticides, phenols and flavonoids. Analytical multi-technique methods are elaborated e.g. HPLC with derivative spectrophotometry and chemometry.

Investigations concerning the determination of metals and non-metals in environmental and clinical samples covering also speciation analysis are carried out.

Domains of applications:

The developed analytical methods are used in the analysis of body fluids, biological tissue, fruits, vegetables, herbs, soil samples, bottom sediments, marine bottom sediments and industrial waters.
